About Art Camp
Our Philosophy
At Art Camp, we believe art can do so much more than fill an afternoon. It sparks creativity, helps kids bounce back from challenges, and brings us closer to each other and to the natural world around us.
We believe everyone is an artist. Whether you’re 5 or 85, you have a creative spark inside you, and we’re here to help it shine. Nature is our biggest inspiration, so we spend lots of time outdoors noticing, wondering, and creating. Together, we’re learning to care for each other and for our planet.
Camp Director & Founder Marietta Bolster
Marietta (Mer) grew up in Skaneateles and comes from a long line of artists. She studied at George Washington University and studied Graphic Design in Southern California. She then spent 18 years as Marketing Director for Patience Brewster, her family’s gift company, and later worked as a product designer at MacKenzie-Childs.
Today she is the Partnership Curator at Westlake Art Conservation Center, where she builds connections with museums, collectors, and schools across the Northeast.
As Founder of Art Camp, Marietta brings together art, nature, and mindfulness to inspire creativity at every age. She is also a certified leadership coach and yoga instructor.
